WEBINAR OBJECTIVE
This webinar will give an epidemiological overview of tuberculosis (TB) and mental disorders in the context of the Global End TB Strategy. This includes a detailed examination of underlying risk factors and mechanisms, such as poverty, stigma, substance abuse, immunosuppression, and medication side effects. Finally, it will describe evidence-based models for integrated care and how they can be used for the co-management of TB and mental disorders in low-resource settings.
